VIDEO PRODUCTION AND EDITING

Portraits of Crossroads is a ten-episode interview series produced with Ikamva Labantwana Bethu ("Our Children's Future" in Xhosa), a grassroots nonprofit fighting youth unemployment and educational gaps in Crossroads Township.
Crossroads is one of Cape Town's oldest informal settlements, where 45% unemployment and decades of governmental neglect have shaped how the outside world sees the community. The series is aimed at reaching local Cape Town residents and international audiences alike, with the goal of countering those deficit-driven narratives.
By spotlighting the remarkable individuals connected to ILB and the broader Crossroads community, Portraits helps drive awareness and donations for an organization that, as its founder puts it, is "the light in Crossroads."

II. SOCIAL MEDIA AND CONTENT CREATION:
SOCIAL CONTENT CREATION FOR NATIONWIDE
Nationwide x Zaya Jingle Challenge was a real-time social campaign built around a viral TikTok moment, when a years-old video of Zaya Campbell, daughter of gospel singer Erica Campbell, singing the Nationwide jingle suddenly exploded on the platform.
The audience was TikTok's Gen Z-skewing user base, and the goal was to prove Nationwide was a brand that could genuinely participate in culture. The campaign extended the moment into a nationwide jingle challenge for high school music groups, with owned content generating 6.5M views, 300,000 engagements, and a Shorty Award nomination—driving a 110% increase in share of voice versus the three months prior.
